Once an order has shipped, you will receive an email with tracking information. If you have not received a shipping confirmation email within a few days of placing your order, please check your spam folder.
If your package is missing, please have a look around your property to see if it was tucked away out of sight. Fedex.com provides proof of delivery. You can track your package on their website to see a photo of where your package was left. If the package is not found, notify us within three days of the scanned delivery date at info@drunkelephant.com. We will start a trace with FedEx and take the required follow-up steps. This process takes approximately 2-3 business days.

If your package or product was damaged during transit, save the box and merchandise and notify us immediately at info@drunkelephant.com. Please do not discard the product or the packaging as these materials may be required your claim to be processed.

Please email details and pictures to info@drunkelephant.com. Please do not discard your item. We may ask that you return it for quality assurance. If you did not purchase your product from drunkelephant.com, please contact your retailer for assistance.

We want you to love your Drunk Elephant purchase, so if you are not totally satisfied, please send an email to info@drunkelephant.com within 30 days of your purchase, and we will provide a return authorization and mailing information. We will be happy to provide a refund for the full amount of your purchase, minus shipping. Shipping fees are nonrefundable. Please note: Our warehouse does not accept returns. We are unable to provide return shipping labels at this time. You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs when returning your items. We recommend that if you are shipping an item over $75 that you use a shipping service with reliable tracking or insurance. If a return item is lost in the shipment back, we cannot issue a refund.

We always suggest subscribing to our emails to ensure you are getting first access to restocks, new products, and promotions. Yes! We include at least one free sample with every order unless you opt not to receive them. We only ship samples with a purchase. Due to the limited nature of free samples, we are unable to reship them if they arrive damaged or are missing.

Auto-replenishment is a service that allows you to set up automatic shipments of select Drunk Elephant products at your preferred frequency with free ground shipping and at 10% off.

With auto-replenishment, you’ll never be without your favorite Drunk Elephant products. You’ll receive free ground shipping and 10% off auto-replenishment orders.

You will receive an email confirming your upcoming auto-replenishment order. You can update the frequency or cancel an upcoming order from your reminder email.

Yes. To manage your auto-replenishment order(s) at any time, sign in to your account and go to the Order History tab in My Account. You can cancel or edit the quantity and frequency of your auto-replenishment orders up to 24 hours before your next order is due to ship. Your next scheduled replenishment order date will display in this section as well.

No. We offer auto-replenishment only on select products. You can see whether an item is available for auto-replenishment on its product page.

All auto-replenishment orders include complimentary ground shipping.

You can pay with any valid credit card. Please note, PayPal and Afterpay are not acceptable forms of payment on auto-replenishment orders.

Afterpay

Afterpay is an alternative payment method service that allows us to offer our customers the ability to make purchases now and pay for them in four equal (interest-free!) installments, made every two weeks.

Just shop drunkelephant.com and proceed to checkout as usual. At checkout, select Afterpay as your payment method. You will be directed to the Afterpay website to register and provide payment details (Visa or Mastercard). If you’ve used Afterpay before, just log in to your Afterpay account! Then follow the steps to complete your order—it’s that easy! Usually, the first installment is paid at checkout, and the remaining three are made every two weeks (but don’t worry, your Drunk Elephant order will still ship out once your order is complete and processed!).

Please note, all items in your shopping bag must be eligible for Afterpay, and the order value must be between $35 and $1,000. Your first order, however, may have a lower maximum value. You will receive an instant approval decision on your order at checkout. Gift cards are not eligible for Afterpay; if you would like to also purchase a gift card, please place a separate order. You must be 18 years or older to create an Afterpay account.

There are no fees associated with the account as long as installments are paid on time, according to the payment schedule (provided at the time of order approval). If you are overdue on a payment, Afterpay automatically applies a grace period (usually 10 days unless otherwise noted) without you having to do anything. Late fees are incurred if payment is not made within the disclosed grace period.

At this time, Afterpay is only available for customers who have US billing addresses, a US Visa or Mastercard, and a US phone number. Unfortunately, customers with international billing information will not be able to set up an Afterpay account.

If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason, please contact our Customer Relations team to return the item(s). If you return an order made through Afterpay for the first time, it can be confusing, as you may expect the entire payment schedule for your order to be readjusted to reflect the new order value.

Once the refund is processed by Drunk Elephant, it automatically drops through to Afterpay, and your payment installment plan is adjusted to reflect the new total order value, starting with the last payment installment and working backward.

Product Questions

Most of our products do not have expiration dates because they are cosmetic products. However, our Umbra Sheer and Umbra Tinte sunscreens do have an expiration date of three years after the manufacture date.

All other Drunk Elephant products have a shelf life of three years (one year after opening) except for Babyfacial: 30 months (one year after opening)
C-Firma Fresh: three years (12 months after mixing)

All skincare products have a PAO, or period-after-opening, date that is printed on the packaging. This information is a guideline to get the most out of your products and use them at their peak efficacy. If you turn your Drunk Elephant bottles to the side, you will see a little open can with a number inside. This refers to the number of months in which we recommend using the product.

Most of our products are recyclable, except for the Littles and Midi sizes, Umbra, the clear wrap on our Pekee and Juju bars, and sample packettes. For detailed recycling info and instructions, please see the individual product pages on our website. If you don’t see the recycling info for your product, please feel free to contact us at info@drunkelephant.com.

At this time, Afterpay is only available for customers who have US billing addresses, a US Visa or Mastercard, and a US phone number. Unfortunately, customers with international billing information will not be able to set up an Afterpay account.

No, we do not test our products on animals, including elephants—although we think they could use the help!

While Drunk Elephant aims for its products to be as natural as possible, it is far more important that the ingredients in them be effective and safe for your body and skin. Natural ingredients can be irritating, so we consistently formulate our products with soothing, low-hazard ingredients—regardless of their natural or synthetic status.

Over time, we have found that a small number of low-hazard synthetic ingredients are essential to maintain the efficiency, color, and stability of a high-performance line. We strive to be as safe as possible while providing the most efficacious skincare available.

As none of our products are produced in dedicated gluten-free facilities, we do not make this claim in association with our products. If you have a gluten intolerance or allergy, your physician needs to be the final word on whether our products are suitable for your sensitivities. We recommend taking the ingredient lists for any Drunk Elephant products you're considering to them for review, just to be safe.

If you are vegan, please consult the ingredient lists for animal-derived ingredients.

All of our products have undergone clinical trials, and none of the people in the trials have ever experienced irritation or breakouts when using only Drunk Elephant products.

No. We do not use parabens.

These are the six ingredients that we feel are at the root of most skin behaviors we see, including oily, acne-prone, inflamed, sensitive, combination, dry/dehydrated, and more. They are nothing to be scared of, but we believe that eliminating the Suspicious 6™ from your routine allows skin to reset to a normal, balanced state, which means the products you are using can work as intended and deliver the best results. Our entire product line is safe for pregnant or nursing women to use, with the exception of A-Gloei, A-Passioni, A-Shaba, and Babyfacial. However, always check with your doctor before using any new products while pregnant or nursing.

Yes, most definitely. When it comes to using a new product or ingredient (especially those that contain acids, like l-ascorbic and glycolic acid), start slowly and let your skin adjust. We use high concentrations in our products to ensure effectiveness, so a little tingling is not a bad thing!

Yes. Younger fans, 12 and under, should not use due to their very active nature: A-Passioni, A-Gloei, A-Shaba, B-Goldi, Babyfacial, Bouncy Brightfacial, C-Firma, Juju, Koffie Scrub, Protini Serum, Sweet Pitti, Scrubbi Bamboes, *T.L.C. Framboos, T.L.C. Glycolic Body Lotion, and T.L.C. Happi Scalp Scrub.

Protini Cream, though both safe and gentle is less appropriate given its main job is to help boost healthy collagen to strengthen skin. At such a young age, you’re making collagen in abundance, so it’s less of a useful formula, which is why we recommend Lala or Virgin Marula as the moisturizer first stop for kids and tweens.

*When it comes to T.L.C. Framboos and tweens, it’s more a question of need and skin concern. While a perfectly safe formula, T.L.C. Framboos focuses on exfoliation and decongesting pores, which for many tweens, just isn’t necessary yet. However, those who are experiencing breakouts and blackheads can absolutely benefit from it—just start slow, 1-3 times per week, and be sure to wear SPF every single day, no exceptions.

What about eye creams? While C-Tango & Ceramighty are safe, gentle and nourishing options for skin, a separate eye cream isn’t necessary given the specific concerns for such a product likely just aren’t present in younger skin. Your moisturizer (like Lala, for example) may give you everything you need around the eye area.
