We offer two free ways to get your Drunk Elephant quickly! Please allow 24-48 hours processing time after you place your order for us to prepare it for shipping.

Standard FedEx Ground* shipping is a flat rate of $5 for orders with a subtotal under $50 (after any discounts have been applied).

Orders with a subtotal over $50 up to $74 (after any discounts have been applied) qualify for free Standard FedEx Ground* or FedEx SmartPost shipping.

Orders with a subtotal over $75 (after any discounts have been applied) qualify for free 2-Day Shipping*!

For orders under $75, we offer expedited 2-Day Shipping* through FedEx for $10.

*We regret that expedited shipping is not available to PO Boxes or APO/FPO address at this time.

We process orders within 1-2 business days. Should there be a delay for any reason, we will contact you.

Once picked up from our warehouse, FedEx commits to deliver your package in 1 to 5 business days within the 48 states, depending on the distance. Shipments to Alaska & Hawaii arrive in 3 to 7 business days.

If 2-day shipping is selected at checkout, standard processing times still apply. After being picked up from our warehouse, your package will arrive within 2 business days .

If you have made an error entering your shipping address or need to make a change, please contact us as soon as possible at info@drunkelephant.com.  We will make every effort to ensure the correct delivery of your order. 

Once an order has shipped, you will receive an email with tracking information in order to easily track your package. If you have not received a shipping confirmation email within a few days of placing your order, please check your “spam” folder.

 

If you believe your package is missing we will start a trace with FedEx and take the required follow-up steps. This process takes approximately 2-3 business days. We cannot replace packages until they have been confirmed missing.

If your package was damaged during shipment, save the box and merchandise and notify us immediately at info@drunkelephant.com. We will arrange for FedEx to pick up and inspect the damaged package and the damaged items will be replaced.

We want you to love your Drunk Elephant purchase, so if you are not totally satisfied, please send an email to info@drunkelephant.com within 30 days of your purchase, and we will provide a return authorization and mailing information. We will be happy to remit your account for the full amount of your purchase, minus shipping. If the product is unopened, we will happily exchange it for another Drunk Elephant product, refunding or charging the difference. Shipping fees are non-refundable. Please note: Our warehouse does not accept returns. We cannot ensure that we will be able to properly locate and handle your return without the return authorization and the correct return address.

 

All items purchased directly from drunkelephant.com may be accepted for a return. If you purchased a Drunk Elephant product from one of our authorized retailers, please contact them for assistance. 

If the product is unopened, we will happily exchange it for another Drunk Elephant product of equal value. 

If you would like to return a gift that was shipped directly to you, we can provide a gift credit for the value of your return.

We are sorry you didn’t absolutely love your Drunk Elephant purchase. Please contact our customer service team at info@drunkelephant.com in order to start the return process.

We’re sorry, but shipping fees are non-refundable. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs when returning your items. We recommend that if you are shipping an item over $75 that you use a shipping service with reliable tracking or insurance. If a return item is lost in the shipment back, we cannot issue a refund.

Online Ordering

We always suggest subscribing to our emails to ensure you are getting first-access to new products, promotions, and news. Limited Edition products should be clearly marked. In general, when these go out of stock, it’s for good.

Yes! We include up to 3 free samples with every order, unless you opt not to receive them. We will only ship samples with a purchase and due to the limited nature of free samples, we are unable to re-ship them if they arrive damaged or are missing. Should a sample be out of stock, we may make substitutions at our discretion.

We have hand selected the samples that are given with each product with the intention of making your Drunk Elephant routine even better! At this time, samples can’t be specified or switched out.

You can purchase any Drunk Elephant product from Drunkelephant.com or from an authorized retailer. Sephora is our exclusive retail partner in the US and Canada. You can find Drunk Elephant at Sephora.com, Sephora.ca, in-stores at Sephora and at Sephora inside JC Penny. We also sell on Amazon via an authorized seller.

Yes, the only authorized seller of Drunk Elephant on Amazon is Quiverr. We provide a manufacturer’s warranty only for products purchased from the reseller that we have specifically authorized to sell Drunk Elephant brand products on Amazon.

If you haven’t signed up for our emails – please do! We will let you know about latest launches, news and offers. While we may not offer discounts often, our kits and gift sets are a great way to receive multiple products at a value.

Promotion codes are limited to one code per order, and in some cases, promotions can only be redeemed once per person. Offers cannot be used in conjunction with other promotion codes. All promotion codes are available for a limited time and cannot be use once expired. Promotions are not redeemable for cash. We currently accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, Paypal, ApplePay, and Visa- and American Express-branded pre-paid gift cards. If using a pre-paid gift card, please ensure there are sufficient funds before attempting to place an order. Unfortunately, we don’t offer split payments at this time.

To purchase a gift card, please add the item in the desired denomination to your shopping bag.  Gift card codes will be emailed to the purchaser after the transaction is completed.  You may choose to print or forward the gift card confirmation email to the recipient.

Product Questions

Most of our products do not have expiration dates because they are cosmetic products, with the exception of Umbra Sheer and Umbra Tinte.  The expiration date for Umbra is embossed in the crimped end of the tube.

 

All Drunk Elephant products have a shelf life of 3 years (1 year after opening) including TLC Framboos, Shaba Eye Serum, Lippe, B-Hydra, Lala Retro, Marula Oil, Juju, and Peeke, except for:

 

Babyfacial – 2 years (1 year after opening)

Cfirma-  1 year (4-6 month after opening)

All skin care products have a PAO, or period-after-opening date that is printed on the packaging.  This information is a guideline to get the most out of your products and use them at their peak efficacy.  If you turn your Drunk Elephant bottles to the side, you will see a little open can with a number inside.  This refers to the number of months in which we recommend using the product.

Our first priority is always the safety and effectiveness of the formula. Unfortunately, at this time, in order to protect our formulations, the pumps available are not recyclable. However, when the option becomes available, we will be the first in line!

Yes, but of course use common sense.  We recommend patch testing when using Umbra on small children and as a general rule, acids are intended for 13 years and older.

No, we do not test our products on animals, including elephants... although we think they could use the help!

While Drunk Elephant aims for its products to be as natural as possible, it is far more important that the ingredients in them be effective and safe for your body and skin. Plenty of natural ingredients are irritating, so we consistently formulate our products with soothing, low-hazard ingredients — regardless of their natural or synthetic status.

Over time, we have found that a small number of low-hazard synthetic ingredients are essential to maintain the efficiency, color, and stability of a high-performance line. We strive to be as safe as possible while providing the most efficacious skin care available.

Some of our products might fit the profile of being vegan and/or gluten-free, but not all of them do. If you have a gluten allergy or intolerance, please consult the ingredient decks and your doctor before using any Drunk Elephant products. If you are vegan, please consult the ingredient decks for animal-derived ingredients.

All of our products have undergone clinical trials and none of the people in the trials have ever experienced irritation or breakouts when using only Drunk Elephant products. 

No. We do not use parabens.

These are the six ingredients that we feel are at the root of most skin behaviors we see, including oily, acne-prone, inflamed, sensitive, combination, dry/dehydrated and more.  We believe that eliminating the S6 from your routine allows skin to reset to a normal, balanced state which means the products you are using can work as intended and deliver results. Instead of owning your skin “type”, remove silicones, essential oils, fragrance/dyes, drying alcohols, SLS and chemical/synthetic sunscreens and let your skin function and thrive as it can and should. Our entire product line is safe for pregnant or nursing women to use, with the exception of A-Passioni and Babyfacial. However, always check with your doctor before using any new products while pregnant or nursing.

Yes, most definitely. When it comes to using a new product or ingredient (especially those that are acidic like L-Ascorbic and glycolic acid), start slowly and let your skin adjust. We use high concentrations in our products to ensure effectiveness, so a little tingling is not a bad thing!

Unfortunately, we do not ship internationally at this time. We ship only to the 50 states of the United States.

We are so thrilled to be launching in China! However, if you’re asking about animal testing, let’s be clear: That is something we would never do. Hong Kong SAR does not require animal testing. That is the only place where we will be selling in retail (via Sephora HK), and in mainland China, we are using cross border e-commerce which does not require the same registration process as cosmetics sold via retail there. We are Leaping Bunny Program certified, and have never, nor will we ever, animal test or allow our products to be tested on animals.
